# Use Cases

> Find the flow that matches where your money starts and where it needs to go.

Every flow on PrimeVault is one of three operations:

* **Deposit or payin:** fund a vault.
* **Withdrawal or payout:** send funds from a vault to a bank account, a wallet, or another vault. It can stay in the same currency or convert on the way out.
* **Trade:** buy or sell crypto with a liquidity provider (LP), using funds held in an LP vault.
